Simply Stampin' Challenge card

Why not pop on over to the fabulous new simply stampin challenge blog
you need to use at least one Stampin' Up! item on your card or project to enter and a new challenge will  be set every Saturday - so if you love SU products this would be the perfect place to be for loads of inspiration.

this week is week number 1 and the challenge is to follow this sketch:-

you can rotate the sketch if you like but I decided to follow it just as it is - here is my card

I am so loving getting to use some more new products from our delicious new mini catalogue - here i have used the new owl punch, the square lattice embossing folder and the lush new seam binding ribbon.  I have used the pear pizzaz seam binding ribbon which ruches so easily and gives loads of dimension to any card, and who can resist this cute little owl - twit ta woo - not me!

Why not come and join in the fun and help support some fellow demos on their inspirational blog

Thank You Sarah-Jane

This is a similar card to one I posted ealier this week, I used springtime vintage DSP and used similar cardstock colours to the card in my previuos post.  Changed the colour of my scrunched flower to very vanilla and used the Thank You from the Curly Cute stamp set and up pops the top note die again!

The lovely Sarah Jane who is another of Julies Jems, organised a mini catalogue swop for the rest of us, so this was my card that I sent to her along with my swops - hope she liked it!  I certainly appreciated her hard work in getting the swops all out to us - my display board is looking fab - thanks again SJ xx

Ready, Steady......Launch....The New MINI CATALOGUE is here!!

We have the brand new Mini Catalogue Release today... it is jam packed with some absolutely amazing new goodies... As a Demonstrator I  had the opportunity to pre- order them a month ago ( a benefit of becoming a demonstrator!!)and have had the pleasure of playing with some of them and getting creative with all the lush new products.  If you would like me to send you a copy of the mini catalogue please get in touch.

Here is one of the projects I had fun creating -

I have used the beautiful Sprintime vintage papers which are just a delight, such beautiful colours, some of my favourite colours are used in this design series paper pack, I have used Rich razzleberry base card matted with the old faithf ul old olive textued card stock.  And how might you add did I manage to cut the fabulous shape that is on my card........well wait for it........Stampin' Up! have introduced the Sizzix Big Shot in our Mini Catalogue, along with some superb SU exclusive dies.....ooooooerrrrr! this one is called the top note and will be ever so useful, I have also used another fantastic new product, seam binding, rose red to be exact to make my ribbon rose centre for my flower.

That's it for today, I hope you love the Mini Catalogue as much as I do and come back soon and see what else I have been making.   Don't miss popping back on Saturday as I am taking part in a huge blog hop with 55 other SU demonstartors from the ILWS, it starts at 10am and is not be missed as I am sure there will be some fantastic projects on display throughout the various blogs, details will be here on Saturday!!
