Some more Su cards - addicted? think i might be!

White A6 base card, stamped with the flourish from the Baroque set in vintage sepia ink. curvy verses also stamped in vintage sepia, flowers were stamped from the Greenhouse Garden set, then cut out.Nice simplistic card with just a splash of colour

A6 white base card, added some pale lilac paper from my stash and stamped the Baroque flourish in amethyst ink( may have to buy my own baroque set, keep borrowing mum's! - but luuuuv it sooo much! can you tell?)Purple ribbon added from stash,  stamped the butterflies in pale lilac and over stamped them again with the flowers in amethyst, the sentiment is from the pocket sihouettes set

How is it thtat when you get a new set of stamps and you start to play with them that they quickly become a favourite........well.......until the next set arrives on your doorstep!  Again this is an A6 white base card, covered the bottom half with lilac paper from stash and stamped the baroque flourish in old olive on upper half of card, used the tiny flower from flight of the butterfly and stamped in lilac, ribbon from stash and the 3 flowers are from the greenhouse garden set again(this set sat unused for a good few weeks but now i can't put it down - had to have flowers in every colour imaginable!)

Support our Soldiers

This year our craft group decided to have the support our soldiers charity as the organisation we would support this year, we had an all day craftathon  at the end of March, where we made cards to donate to the soldiers, the cards get sent out to serving men and women and they than have cards available to send home to loved ones.  We were advised that they were in need of male type cards as Father's day is rapidly approaching, we also made Get well, Anniversary and general cards too. We managed to make 320+ cards to donate and these cards are being sent to the area co-ordinator to forward on.  We also sold some cards on the day and the money raised is being donated to a local charity for recuperating servicemen and women.  My friendand I who run the club are very pleased  with the hard work and effort everyone put in and would like to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support - Well Done Ladies!

I'm Back! & Daughter's Easter card

Not been blogging much lately - naughty me!!
This was the Easter card which i made for my daughter - we managed to have a girly weekend at the start of the Easter hols as hubby and 14 year old son were off to Blackpool for a footie tournament. We had dinner out at Frankie & Bennys on the Saturday night then sat and made some cards when we got home.

Tilda was coloured with copics, handmade flower, some green organza ribbon, ms punch and unmounted easter stamp and a little doodling -Emma thought it was really bright easter colours and loved it - so that was a result!!!
