Trendy Trees punch sample tag booklet

Hi been out all day at my sons footie tournament.......and guess what ......no rain -the sun actually shined instead, certainly makes it much more enjoyable not to get soaked!! First game tomorrow at 9am, so he has to be there for 8.15, so another early start!

I was tidying up some bits and found a little box of skateoard stickers and books etc and as I had no use for them was about to bin them when I changed my mind - the little sticker book had plastic coated pages and i had a light bulb moment! The other day i had been wondering what stamps would fit inside some of my SU punches, so i decided to make myself a punch sampler booklet. I split the pages and cut them in half and separated the cover into two pieces. I covered the covers with retired SU d/p and added a stamped trendy tree to the centre of 2 co-ordinating punched scallop circles, I then took all my punches and punched the plastic coated pages with them - i wrote beside each punched hole what the name of the punch was - this allows me to show customers what the punches all punch out like and also allows me to place the sample over text to see what punch fits best. It is kept alltogether with a binding ring and have added some bits of SU ribbon to make it pretty.  Hope you like it x

Bird on A branch # 2

Another card using the same products as the previous card, the only added extra was the matt of chocolate chip designer paper.  I brayerds the base card and used a post it note to create the moon, and used the branch to create the  detail at the bottom of the card the sentiment is from the thank you kindly set

Bird on a Branch

Morning everyone -  This is my offering for today -
I have used the versatile Bird on a branch set -its one of the 2 step stamping sets on promotion this month, and at only £11.96 it is super value-

Base card is whisper white folded to create A6 card, this has its edges distressed with a spong dauber using bareyl banana, the little speckle dots in this stamp set is just soooooo useful, makes a great textured background in seconds, have then over stamped  this with the tiny flower cluster around one side edge and the opposite corner.  Smaller panel created by using whisper white and sponging the edges with bashful blue ink to soften the line and again over stamping with the little speckle dots in the same ink, used close tococoa for the branch and so saffron ink for the bird - sentiment also from the same set, stamped in close to cocoa and edged with the same bashful blue ink  as before-gems added from stash

YAAAAY! UPS man just been!

You will can tell from the title of this post that it doesn't take much to get me excited!

The lovely man in brown has just been and delivered some more Stampin' Up! goodies, some for me and some for some lovely customers I have--new stamps, ribbon and d/p for me - looks like i may have to go and play....oooh the hardship!.........good thing i prepared dinner earlier in between stalking the delivery man from the window and pretending to tidy up!

Maybe have something to show you later- ta ta for now x

Anyone for cake?

This is one of my all time favourite stamped images - ittranscends all age groupsaswe all like Birthday and most of us all like cake, and he is such a cheeky little chappie

Image has been coloured with copics and cut out with circle nesties, the dp is MME and cut with SU eyelet border punch, and the lovely grosgrain is  SU regal rose and a few faceted gems from my stash - i have a very dear friends Birthday in the next couple of days so this is going to be winging its way to her -

this little cutie fits a few challenges this week:-

In the MOO'd for a swing?

This fabby image just makes me smile every time I use it  - and it is so quick and easy to colour too! The
image  is coloured with promarkers and copics, and die cut with nesties, the edges of which were distressed with SU pretty in pink and bordering blue inks, this blended in too a muted purple which blended in with the d/p i had chosen from my stash.  Oval  label cut with a nellie snellen die and SU grosgrain ribbon threaded through it to add a splash of colour

Animals were the Challenge theme over at cinspirations.#71

Flowers for you

This tilda stamp is such a mutli use stamp -covers sooooo many occasions  - just love her to bits and totally different depending on the d/p and colours you use . This image was coloured with copics, glittery dotty paper from stash, have aded some diamond dust to the roses - this is like crystal glitter - doesn't show up too well on piccie but sure makes the roses shine when the light hits them, sentiment from retired SU sale-a-baration set and some white grosgraon to finish it off

As i have gone Dotty with this card too - it fits in with the challenge over at

Sweet as Sugar

Bright, zingy colours for this little piece of sugar - coloured with promarkers and copics -  swiss dots embossing folder used on base card, olive paper - retired Su d/p and MME orange dotty paper. Used some of the delicious old olive satin ribbon from SU and added some matching prima flowers with little beaded centres .

challenges that this card fit are:-

sugar bowl blog challenge #40-do-it-yourself - great challenge this week as you were to pick your own choice of sketch ( i chose sketch #20) from the gallery(loads to choose from!) and  it was to be a do it yourself style of card

simon says stamps challenge - going dotty - they wanted you to go Dotty - did that with base card and paper

C.R.A.F.T challenge#61 -hot and spicy colours - hope these colours fit the bill

Tilda Has a pressie!

Love this Tilda image, as although she was a Christmas stamp, I think she can be used all year round, after all we all love pressies at our Birthday;s too - don't we?  I know i do

I have used Happy Birthday embossing folder and made the wording pop by rubbing over with SUpretty in pink ink,  edges around the nestie cut  image also coloured with pretty in pink ink, tilda coloured with copics and i also added some lovely SU striped pretty in pink ribbon to finish it off
I have enterd this card into the following challenges:-
