tilda kicks up a thank you for Creative inspirations sepia challenge

Creative inspirations are challenging you to make a sepia coloured card for this weeks challenge. I chose Tilda from the winter collection - coloured with distress inks, papermania capsule collection background paper used, ms border punch, gold mirri card sentiment and gems - not my usual colours and wasn't sure about the papers, but actually quite liked this when it was all put together, which is unusual for me!

gift bags

some gift bags made for class a few weeks ago - used lots of stamping and ribbons

Handbag cards

My friend and i run a craft class twice a month and this was one of our class projects from last week - handbag cards - various papers and techniques used - these were just a few of my samples- everybody seemed to enjoy making them - think we all know someone who would like a handbag card - they suit anyone from 8 - 80!

Wendy's digi image challenge

Wendy over at the clipartfairy set  a digi image challenge over on the Docrafts board. Anyone who wanted to take part was sent a digi image from Wendy, we all were sent the same image and had to create something with it, a card or anything you fancied.  It was a great image of a lady in the bath, i coloured her with promarkers and distress inks and made a 6x6 card and a little pocket bag to match which holds smelly bath flakes, went for a bold colour scheme of green and pink - hope it fits the bill - thanks for the image Wendy

Couple of Kanban quickies

these were 2 quick cards- just pick and stick really from a Kanban sheet - great for quick boys cards- shame both my boys are too old for them now - not really cool to be into pirates at 14 and 22 yrs old!! - going to pop them in my box and i am sure they will get used at sometime!

Miss Gorjuss

Just love the gojuss girls from Sugar Nellie and decided to have a go with this stamp, made an easel card - they are sooo easy and seem to be everywhere at the moment, this card covers a few challenges this week.
A couple of challenges on the Docrafts board this week - The SSC challenge#5 this week was to be based on a love theme, not necessarily valentines and no red or pink, it also fitted the GG challenge which was to incorporate text background paper on your card, blog challenges it fits are:-

charismacardz #5 - love you challenge

Forever Friends says thank you

Really quick and simple card that i made for the weekly FF challenge over on the docrafts board - this week the remit was to make a thank you card and to use some fabby design paper.  The dp was from a free pack of MME papers which came free with a craft mag this month, the image was from a FF paper stack which i matted and layered and I have just taken collection of some new SU goodies, so had to use the oval sentiments and the scalloped oval punch. The flower was made from 3 paper flowers from a pack that i got in my local Poundland!!!! masses of flowers in the bag and all for a £1 - bargain of the week - i scored and folded the middle of the petals with an embossing tool and added some glitter glue -
i think it makes quite an effective flower and cost pennies to make -
even more reason to love it!

My daughter made her friend a Hello Kitty Birthday Card

My daughter, who will be 10 on the 21 Feb decided that as it was her little friends Birthday that she would make her a card to give to her.  i showed her how easy an easel card is to make and off she went - this is what she came up with - i think she made a fabby job!.    She loves to craft and make things. My friends daughter is 19 and when we go the the big craft show at the SECC in glasgow together, the two of them go off an buy their goodies - my daughter thinks she is soooo grown up when she gets to do this - the Hello Kitty die was one of her purchases and so was the paper block which she cut the dress and bow from, she is busy saving hard for the next show which is at the begining of March................her little friend loved her card and my little girl was chuffed to bits!  she will be thrilled that i showed her card on here too xx
