Penny Black Saturday Challenge

It's Christmas time over at http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ I have used my favourite 'Snowy' stampfor this challenge, i have created a card and tag to match - there is also a small challenge runs every week on docrafts for us PB fans and it so happens that this week it was a Christmas theme too, you had to make a matching tag - so lucky for me this car and tag fits both challenges - hope you like it x

Cute Card Thursday Challenge and Papertake Weekly challenge

Challenge no.75 at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ is new beginings, it can be a card made for any new begining, a baby, a marriage, a new job, new home etc. I decided to go with new home and used a pink petticoat download, which i have coloured. The card was made following a sketch from this weeks challenge over at http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/ my background paper is from DCWV perfect posies stack and the card candy dots are from craftwork cards, a peach organza bow completes the sketch

Whiff of Joy Challenge 45 -Bling

The remit for this weeks WOJ challenge was Bling! I used a layout from another small challenge over on Docrafts - Loretta sets a sketch challenge ever'y week, so, doubled this one up.

I used 'hug in a mug' stamp and coloured with copics/promarkers, added gemstones to her jeans for a little bling, also added more bling in the body of the vellum butterfly. Hopefully my charm counts as bling too! DCWV perfect posies paper is the bp i have used.

Sketch Saturday #66 and Creative inspirations

Loved the fab sketch this week over at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/, used some new papers i got from a friend in a paper swop and went for a Christmas theme - maybe this way i will have enough cards made in time for Christmas!! I used an anya image and coloured with copics and added some glitter this also doubles as my card for the http://cinspirations.blogspot.com/ challenge this week as the remit was for the colours to blu and brown, so yay!! this fits the bill.

Copic Creations Challenge #10

over at copic creations http://copiccreations.wordpress.com/the challenge was to use the colours red/pink and include hearts - this was my entry - just remebered i hadn't uploaded it -just made it as the challenge closes today! The hangalar image was coloured with my copics and for the hearts she has hearts in her basket, there is a heart on the sentiment and the paper roses are handmade from a scalloped heart punch - a bit fiddly, but worth the effort x

Anyone for Anya challenge doubling as myFriendship card

The new anyone for Anya challenge has just started over at http://anyoneforanya.blogspot.com/ this week it has to be Sugar and Spice and all things nice - to be a nice girly card and as i was just about to make a card with Anya on i thought it would double up as I take part in a monthly Friendship swop over on docrafts too - one of the girls matches us all up with a partner and she sometimes sets a theme - this month's was - things i like - you had to contact your partner and find out what they liked then make your card around their answers. My partner, alex, likes the colours blue and green , any shade, stamping, copics,flowers, especially tulips, so this is what i made. Used the colours in the paper and the inks, coloured Anya with copics, she is carrying a basket of tulips, used some fabric flowers and coloured them to match with my copics, used cork scrabble tiles to spell out her name - hope she likes it x

2 cards for challenges on the Docrafts Boards

this was for the Pb challenge which was to use the colours, black pink and silver, youwere to add a ribbon and gems and use some kind of corner - think i got everything on the list - really think this is such a fun image it is called 'Primp'

This was a Gorjuss Girl Challenge - any shape, ribbon, sentiment you had to include flowers and a hole(or holes) on your card. I made the card ........and forgot to the holes!! added tehm with my cropadile, but liked it better without them .....never mind x

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #74

The theme at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ was to be lazy days - a Summer card - nearly just a memory as it has been like winter here over the last 2 days - today is better and the sun is shining - doesn't it make everyone smile more when the sun is out. For my card for this weeks challenge i used a dark orange base card, patterend paper from a free download(sorry can't remember where from!) stamped anya stamp and coloured with copic pens then mounted a sticker frame over her, mounted fun in the sun sticker onto card and added to the bottom of the windmill stem, the windmill was made from the same paper as before, a brad and a small flower completed the centre of my windmill.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge

This week the challenge over at trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com is to make anthing BUT a card. I decided to make a gift container - check out the splitcoast stampers website for details and decorated it with a Tilda image, the sentiment stamp is from cuddly buddly and the paper rose is handamde from a scalloped heart punch.

Citrus zing!

A rather zingy coloured card, all bright citrus colours, used DCWV perfect posies stack for background, tilda coloured with promarkers/copics, sentiment was from a smallset i picked up in Tesco's for a couple of pounds xx

There is some amazing blog candy on offer at the moment- its all over the place, just been blog hopping and have founds some cracking stuff - have added links and piccie to my sidebar - some of it is too good to miss - hope we are lucky! x

OOPS! forgot to mention!

amazing! before we jetted off on holiday on the Tuesday, i had to go to the North east for a family Wedding and Christening at the Weekend and guess what.........when i was checking my emails before i left, i found out i had won Kirsten's blog candy - set 3 of the gorjuss girls- 6 brand new stamps to add to my collection- wow, wow,wow, was so surprised and delighted as i never win anything - and they were sitting waiting for me (with a scrumptious card) when i got home yetserday. Just Back!

Just back from 2 weeks holidat in Tenerife with my hubby and 2 younger kids - we had a ball, the weather was absolutely fantastic, they had a heatwave the first weekend we were there., toasting! had quite a lazy time, sat by the pool, swam with the kids and didn't do much else - great!!! nice and relaxing, Hubby and son went scuba diving, but a little energetic for my daughter and I,so we just sunbathed instead ,we did do the water parks a couple of times during our stay,and i managed to read 4 books- that would never happen at home. I did find a little craft stall at the market where a lady was selling her own craft cd - did buy, but wondered if there would actually be anything on it when i got home - but all is well as it works fine and has somenice things on it.
